Jesus Christ is at the center of everything we are and do. He is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human, and the Savior of the world. Jesus came to earth, lived among us, and revealed the perfect love and character of the Father. He lived a sinless life and willingly gave His life on the cross as the complete sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins. He died, was buried, and rose triumphantly on the third day, conquering sin and death forever.
Because of Jesus, we can be reconciled to God, experience true freedom, and possess the assurance of eternal life. Following Jesus is more than simply knowing about Him—it is knowing Him personally, trusting Him daily, and allowing His grace and teachings to shape how we live, love, and serve.
We believe the Holy Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible, and living Word of God. Written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, Scripture is God’s direct revelation of Himself and His truth to humanity. It is complete truth without error and serves as the ultimate authority for our faith, doctrine, and daily conduct.
We believe the Bible is not just a historical text to be admired, but living truth to be studied, proclaimed, and lived out daily—guiding our families, anchoring our decisions, and leading us into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe salvation is entirely a free gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ—it cannot be earned by good deeds, moral effort, or religious rituals. Because of sin, every person is naturally separated from God, but on the cross, Jesus paid the full penalty for our redemption.
When you turn to God in genuine repentance, confess Jesus as your Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, your sins are completely forgiven. You are justified, born again by the Spirit, adopted into God’s family, and granted the gift of eternal life.
The Holy Spirit is fully God, co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is actively present and moving in our church today—convicting hearts of sin, comforting those who mourn, and drawing people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit indwells every believer at salvation, guiding us into all truth. We believe in the baptism and ongoing infilling of the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers with supernatural boldness for witnessing, distributes spiritual gifts for the building up of the church, produces Christ-like character, and releases power to overcome temptation.
We observe two biblical ordinances instituted by Jesus Christ: Water Baptism by immersion and Communion (The Lord's Supper).
Water baptism is an outward, public declaration of an inward transformation. It symbolizes our old life being buried with Christ and rising out of the water to walk in newness of life. Communion is a sacred time of worship where we remember Christ’s broken body and shed blood on the cross, expressing gratitude for our redemption as one family until He returns.
Our driving motto is: "We exist to serve the ONE and lead them to eternal life through Jesus Christ."
Mirroring Jesus, who left the ninety-nine sheep to seek and save the single lost one, we believe every individual has infinite worth in the eyes of God. We are not interested in just gathering a crowd; we care about the individual soul. Whether through our Sunday gatherings in English (9:00 AM) and Spanish (11:00 AM), our Wednesday MDWK youth and prayer nights, or our community outreaches in Midland and Greenwood, we exist to meet people right where they are and introduce them to the transforming love of Jesus.
Prayer is the spiritual engine of Redeemed Church. We believe God hears and answers the earnest prayers of His people—healing sick bodies, restoring broken marriages, setting captives free from addiction, and shifting the spiritual atmosphere over our city.
Every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM during MDWK, while our youth are poured into with high-energy worship and discipleship, our adults gather for focused intercessory prayer. We believe that when the church prays together in faith, God moves with power.
We believe humanity was created to live forever. Every person will face eternity—either separated from God through the rejection of His grace, or in eternal joy, righteousness, and unbroken fellowship in His presence through faith in Jesus Christ.
Heaven is the promised eternal home of everyone who trusts in Jesus. We eagerly anticipate the glorious, bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, wipe away every tear, and establish His kingdom. Our greatest calling is to lead people to eternal life through Jesus before that day arrives.
